Glen Milne reassures us that we aren’t the only ones:

Certainly, the electorate turns off all prime ministers from time to time. But what intrigues Liberal strategists in Rudd’s case is the personal nature of it. It is as if voters expected – at his urgings – too much of him. As one shopper told a Liberal MP this week: “Every time I see him on TV now my skin crawls.” That’s pretty visceral stuff if it is shared across the country.
